In a cozy little seaside community of Bent Creek, Oregon, we discover Luca and Merritt, a couple awaiting the impending arrival of a new addition to the family. Just before the baby is due, the family gains an unexpected member . . . a wife who has been missing for nearly a decade.
If you closely examine this seemingly idyllic marriage at present, you will begin to find deep penetrating cracks, the traces of a sordid past lurking beneath the façade. One husband, two wives, and a whole slew of secrets. I really enjoyed this roller coaster thrill ride told in an alternating POV.
